Unlike Old Order Amish districts that enforce an absolute 8th-grade limit on formal classroom schooling, Beachy Amish and higher-order Anabaptist groups actively encourage high school completion and vocational training.
High School and College Education
Many Beachy communities operate parochial high schools or permit students to attend online Christian colleges and trade institutions. As a result, members work not only in traditional carpentry and farming trades, but also as certified nurses, accountants, software developers, and business managers.
